ABOUT GLOBAL MANGUE

The GLOBAL MANGUE – International Forum on Environmental Education in Mangrove Areas aims to discuss and propose actions that promote environmental education and sustainable development in mangrove regions.

One of the forum’s challenges will be to facilitate a broad reflection on the gaps in actions carried out by various stakeholders and seek a better understanding and improvement of environmental education and sustainable development initiatives and mechanisms.

The event will bring together various professionals from the public and private environmental sectors, traditional communities, NGOs, and other interested parties. During the forum, existing experiences in Brazil and other countries will be presented, and theoretical-practical insights will be generated to guide actions related to promoting education for sustainable development.
